Born and raised in India, Dr. Krishna Keri aspired to be a physician from an early age. He was inspired by the profession’s ability to impact so many lives where it mattered the most.
Dr. Keri completed his Internal Medicine residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and Nephrology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Having experienced the hustle and bustle of highly populated metropolitan areas, he decided early in his career to experience the warmth and interpersonal relationships of tight-knit communities. After proudly serving in rural areas of Wiconsin and Tennessee, he was attracted by Gadsden’s warm weather and proximity to major metro cities.
Dr. Keri considers patient education as a keystone in management of any chronic ailments. He believes that a properly educated patient is the best tool against fighting every malady. His professional core values are compassion and patient autonomy which help him deliver individualized medical care.
During his free time, Dr. Keri enjoys reading history and psychology, and enjoys playing with his son.
